Why should I hire you?
I am a website copywriter and usability design expert seeking a challenging position utilizing creativity, accuracy and consistency. My experience includes writing for websites, SEO, metadata, email, newsletters, direct mail, technical manuals, and press releases. I am also experienced in brand marketing, event coordinating, advertising library maintenance, tracking competitors’ advertising, and training. I am extremely organized, self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects at once. I have the ability to translate geek-ese into regular speak and, although I have awesome detailed proofreading abilities, I can step back and see the big picture, incorporate logical thinking and manage a project through logical steps.
What is your dream job and what skills do you bring to the table that connect the two?
The ideal position for me would combine creativity and website usability. I have Adobe Creative Suite training and fifteen years of business writing experience. I worked on the usability design team at Embarq for over 2 ½ years and helped design content pages and logical usability. I enjoy challenges and problem-solving and the responsibility that goes with it.
